So I been working at Envoy at DFW for about a year now and I like the job but the pay is mediocre compared to mainline(AA) i honestly don’t mind doing more work for more pay but that’s not my concern. my question is should i apply as external applicant (I won’t be eligible for internal transfer because I haven’t completed 24 months) or thug it out for another year n keep my seniority. I do wanna stay long term because I do wanna be a AMT at AA anyway but I’m not sure if keeping my seniority would matter.

Hallo Schwarm, ich (M/28) bin seit 5 Jahren mit meiner Partnerin (w/24) zusammen. Wir erwarten Ende diesen Jahres unser erstes gemeinsames Kind und sind überglücklich und freuen uns darüber total. Meiner Freundin ist es schon immer sehr wichtig zu heiraten und sie möchte am liebsten eine große Party mit allen Freunden und Verwandten. Ich bin das absolute Gegenteil - meine Eltern leben bis heute in glücklicher „wilder“ Ehe und es gab nie Druck zu heiraten und ich konnte das Thema bis jetzt immer vertagen und meine Freundin auf eine unbestimmte Zukunft vertrösten. Ehrlich gesagt hab einfach nur Angst vor so einer Feier. Kulturell ist es ihr sehr wichtig und vorallem jetzt, mit dem anstehenden Nachwuchs auch nicht mehr zu verschieben. Sie will bis zur Geburt verheiratet sein, komme was wolle und egal zu welchem Preis. Auch meine Schwiegerfamilie mischt sich immer wieder in das Thema ein, übt Druck aus und sagt dabei Dinge die weit unter der Gürtellinie sind. Die ganze Situation verunsichert mich weiter und je länger ich drüber nachdenke, desdo unwohler wird mir. Soviele Leute, viel Geld, soviele Entscheidungen zu treffen, der ganze Stress rund um die Organisation. Am liebsten würde ich einfach nur ohne Gäste heiraten, Unterschrift auf dem Standesamt leisten, ein romantisches Abendessen zu zweit & fertig. Das kommt für sie aber nicht in Frage und führt in den letzten Tagen immer wieder zu Streit und Diskussionen. Mit unseren Ersparnissen würde ich lieber den Grundstein für ein gemeinsames Haus legen & nicht ihre unverschämte Familie verköstigen. Ich weis ehrlich gesagt nicht was ich mir hier erwarte - vielleicht hat jemand die selbe Situation erlebt & kann mir gut zureden? Oder hat einen Vorschlag wie ich diese Angst loswerde? Danke euch!

Garage roof replace advice

Hi guys I have an apex garage roof that’s corrugated. I want to replace the roof as it’s old and leaky. Putting the corrugated slats back on is no problem but what I don’t understand is what to do when I get to the end of the garage. Do I overhang? What do I then put on top of the roof to waterproof it?

George brown Vs Humber practical nurse

Hey, I got into both programs, but I’m not sure which one is better. I’ve heard that George Brown College (GBC) is considered much better than Humber, but I’m not sure if that’s true. I know the program at Humber is shorter course compared to GBC, but I also hear that Humber requires 100 volunteer hours something and has an anatomy component where a bell ringing is worth 10% of your grade, which could negatively impact your overall grade. I don’t mind which college I attend since they are both close to my house, but I just want some advice on which one might be the better choice. I’ve also heard that Humber isn’t as organized compared to GBC. Also, what is the passing grade course for each college’s Practical Nursing program? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Okay, so my current colony is coming to its end. i am not a fan of big colonies so i decide now is a good time to build a ship and leave the world. my current colony started with 1 customed xenotype which is a blood feeding psionic dragon boy at 12 and 4 customized dwarves. the idea is i don't want to recruit anyone, only gain colonist via birthing(the customized dwarves are quick breeders and have short pregnancy). and the idea is as the children grow, and if they manage to role psychic hypersensitive during one of their growth moment they would be elevated in to the blood feeder by the primordial dragon, kind of like a gifted child being selected for ascension type of stuff. so now i look at my 24 colonists, 2 of them are blood feeders with another girl about to be ascended soon after getting the hypersensitive trait at 10, and one is a baseliner kid i rescued and now stuck in a warcasket, and the rest are all the children from the first two dwarf couples, many of them have grown up and are adults by now, and there is even a new pair of lovers. so now as the reactor is charged and i am ready to embark on the journey to another world, I felt sad. i've seen too many things about my little pawns on the world and grown attached to it in a way, plus I have made a promise to myself to rid the world of every pigskin settlement and i am no where near completing that goal. i decide to leave behind 5 colonists, one been the girl that would be elevated to a blood feeder upon reaching 13 years old, and four dwarves, who are children to the first two primordial dwarf couple and have now became adults. the idea is to do the whole thing again, and we would pack the most important item and establish a new colony, and continue to slaughter pigskins. so now it occurs to me does these pawns wish to be left behind? consider they are born on this world with no idea of the life beyond it, do these children have a strong incentive to leave? and i have to imagine that every ship off world would eventually reach a glitter world, other wise why go through such hassel if you wake and find youself again on a world as shitty as the one you just left. i for one wouldn't mind staying put in the world i was born and grew up from, and i probably view the 'glitter worlds' which i never seen or experienced as nothing but fary tails. how would you guys think?

Best opening 4 hours to a game I've ever played.

Enjoyed the first game, but didn't love it, but decided to take the plunge and got the sequin Xbox yesterday. In my 40 years of gaming that was the most entertaining and engaging opening to a game I've played. Four hours just shot by, I laughed out loud on many occasions, the game is so much smoother than the original, everything about it is so much better than the first. Was looking forward to games like stalker 2 way more than this but this blows everything out of the water. Warhorse deserve so much credit, well done to everyone involved, cannot wait to dive back in later. Also like to add how great the performance is on my series x, no bugs or any6and super smooth.
